So, if you haven’t seen it yet, the exciting news is that we’re doing joint coverage with our friends at NZ Rockshop who are at the Winter NAMM show right now!!

Pre-Show – Sterling by Ernie Ball Music Man gets a facelift!

Here’s the first juicy tidbit from our Flickr feed – the affordable Sterling line (cousins to the high end EBMM guitars) is getting a sweet spec upgrade!! Looks like the John Petrucci Line will be featuring the Dimarzio Crunch Lab and Liquifire pickup set from 2013, much like their vastly more expensive cousin, the EBMM JP6/7!

 

 

The same goes for the non-signature line – the AX40, the Sterling version of the Axis will now feature the same custom-wound Dimarzios as the EBMM line.

… here are a few new looks they’re sporting.

 

D’addario Reloaded

Granted, the Matrix Reloaded was totally unnecessary and way more convoluted than the mindblowing first movie (and paved the way for the even more terrible final sequence, the Matrix Revolutions), but that’s neither here nor there. I needed a catchy heading, cut me some slack.

D’addario, one of the biggest names in strings, are rebranding their whole line – new logo, new packaging, new groove! Check it out – what do you think?
